Main Street Auditorium ribbon cutting is today

Rushing Wind Ministries Inc. has announced the opening of Main Street Auditorium, formerly the Nova Theatre, at 401 West Main Street in Cumberland. The auditorium and dining hall next door will be the sight of many exciting upcoming events.

A ribbon cutting ceremony and open house will be held from 5-7 p.m. today followed by a dedication service at 7 p.m. with Trinity Holiness Tabernacle, Hiram leading the service. The special guest speaker will be Pastor Perry Fouts of Faith Trinity Pentecostal Church in Shelbyville, Ind.

Refreshments will be sold after fellowship in the dining hall.

Additionally, the 7th annual Rushing Wind Ministries Youth Retreat will be held Friday and Saturday.

Friday’s youth rally begins at 7 p.m. with guest speaker Pastor Timothy Fouts of Lola Pentecostal Church in Lola.

Saturday’s worship service will begin at 10 a.m. with attending young ministers followed by age appropriate classes, recreation and meals throughout the day. Daytime class teachers/speakers will be Scott Adams, of Hickory Grove Pentecostal Church in Brodhead, and Colleen Fouts, of Faith Trinity in Shelbyville, Ind.

The final service will be held at 7 p.m. in the Main Street Auditorium, located at 401 West Main Street in Cumberland, with Pastor Timothy Fouts.
