The Coal Miners Motorcycle Club recently held a charity ride to raise money for the second annual Autism Awareness Fun Day. An estimated 28-35 bikers came out to show their support for autism and approximately $400 was raised for the event. Pictured at the event is CMMC member Jason Shepherd with Nick Coots. Autism Awareness Fun Day will be held from noon to 4 p.m. on April 19 at Stable of Creekside Glenn (formerly Blair Lake). There will be horseback rides, inflatables, games, face painting, food, an Easter egg hunt at 3 p.m. and more (bring your Easter basket). Everyone is invited to a day of free fun for the entire family. For more information about this event or to make a contribution, contact Jessica Coots at 606-233-7682.
