A Harlan woman has been indicted for allegedly selling drugs in February of 2013.
Julia Irene Sizemore, also known as Julia Foster, 38, was arrested by Loyall City Police Chief Mike Lunsford on an indictment warrant on Wednesday.
The indictment was obtained by Operation UNITE.
According to the two-count indictment, Sizemore sold or transferred a controlled substance on two separate occasions.
Count one of the indictment states Sizemore sold less than 10 pills of oxycodone on Feb. 5, 2013. Count two states she sold less than 10 oxycodone pills on Feb. 6, 2013.
Sizemore was indicted on two counts of first-degree trafficking a controlled substance and lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center on a $4,000 full cash bond.
The case is being investigated by Operation UNITE.
In other police news, Michael D. Boggs, 48, of Evarts, was arrested on Thursday by Kentucky State Police Det. Jason Joseph.
According to the complaint, Joseph states Boggs subjected a child under the age of 12 to sexual contact on July 19.
Boggs was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center on a $20,000 full cash bond.
The case is under investigation by Joseph.
