Customers at Harlan’s El Charrito Mexican restaurant can now enjoy margaritas, wines and beer with their meals.

After obtaining their license to provide alcoholic beverages for their patrons, a new bar addition was added to the restaurant.

“We are now offering Chardonnay, Merlot, White Zinfandel, Sangria, Moscato, Cabernet and Pinot Grigio, along with bottled Mexican and domestic beer and draft beer,” said Manager Juan Roman. “We have small, medium, fish bowl and pitchers of margaritas. We are also offering new tropical margaritas in any size and a large bomb margarita.”

Open 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. seven days a week, Roman encourages everyone to stop by and take a look at their new bar area seating.

“We can now seat well over 100 customers. We are excited to be offering this option for our many customers who have patronized our restaurant for so many years,” said Roman. “We have been serving Harlan County for almost 10 years now offering employment to 15 people.”

At El Charrito you will enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine. One of the local favorites on their menu is the Pollo Harlan dish, which consists of chicken, rice and cheese.

“We appreciate all Harlan Countians who chose to enjoy a meal at our restaurant,” said Roman.
