Eighth grade students from Cumberland Elementary School honored by the Harlan County Board of Education recently for a perfect score on one or more areas of the EXPLORE assessment were: Dacey M. Bailey, reading; Autumn J. Dunaway, English and math; and Sophia K. Sergent, English.

The eighth grade student from James A. Cawood Elementary School honored by the Harlan County Board of Education recently for a perfect score on one or more areas of the EXPLORE assessment was Noah C. Canady, reading and English.


Eighth grade students from Rosspoint Elementary School honored by the Harlan County Board of Education recently for a perfect score on one or more areas of the EXPLORE assessment were: Hannah J. Beasor, math; Jaden Hall, English, math and reading; Whitman Hopkins-Gooden, math; Morgan L. Napier, math; and Bradley L. Burkhart, math. Not pictured is Morgan C. Brown, math.


Eighth grade students from Wallins Elementary School honored by the Harlan County Board of Education recently for a perfect score on one or more areas of the EXPLORE assessment were: Breanna H. Epperson, math, science, and reading; and Shylar L. Gross, science.


Special awards were presented by the Harlan County Board of Education to eighth-graders Autumn J. Dunaway of Cumberland Elementary School and to Breanna H. Epperson of Wallins Elementary School for overall perfect scores on the Explore assessment. Dunaway’s perfect scores in reading and math gave her an overall perfect score average, while Epperson recorded a perfect score in each area and on the composite score.
