A Partridge man was arrested on Friday by Lynch Police Chief Drew Wilson on charges including burglary.

Kevin Buchanan, 41, was arrested on an indictment warrant obtained by Cumberland Police Officer Silas Whitehead.

According to Wilson, Buchanan was arrested without incident at his apartment at 202 Gilbert Drive in Lynch.

The indictment states Buchanan received, retained or disposed of various tools, saws, compressors and cables that belonged to Gwen Blair on Dec. 17, 2011.

The indictment further charges Buchanan with entering a building with the intention to commit a crime and intentionally damaging a door to a building belonging to Blair on Dec. 17, 2011.

Buchanan was charged with third-degree burglary, receiving stolen property under $10,000 and second-degree criminal mischief.

Buchanan was lodged in the Harlan County Detention Center on a $1,000 full cash bond.

The case is being investigated by Whitehead.
