If you are looking for a way to get geared up for Halloween, look no further than Main Street Pineville’s Haunted Campground at Pine Mountain State Park.
Guests will walk through almost one mile of hiking trail through the woods where several haunted creatures and characters will jump out to spook them.
Admission for the campground is $8. Tickets may be purchased at the old campground site.
The trail will run today, Friday and Oct. 30 from dark until midnight.
Main Street Pineville will also be hosting a Haunted Ball on Saturday from 7 p.m. until midnight. This event will include dancing and lots of Halloween costumes at the Pine Mountain State Resort Park lodge. Admission is $15 single or $25 for a couple.
Sunday will be a Trunk of Treats event on the courthouse square in Pineville from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Several businesses, civic organizations and churches in the area will be distributing candy to trick-or-treaters.
Proceeds from all Halloween events will go to benefit other Main Street Pineville outings and revitalization projects for downtown Pineville throughout the year.
