FORT MYERS, Fla. — Ina Gilliam, 90, of Fort Myers, FL, formerly of Benham, KY, passed away Friday, November 22, 2013 in Fort Myers. She was born October 29, 1923 in Big Branch, KY to Feathera and Bertha Whitaker, now deceased.
Ina was a member of Blair Chapel in Blair, KY. She loved her Lord, Jesus Christ and served them faithfully.
She is survived by her son Don Morgan and his wife Alyce of Ft. Myers, FL; one sister, Vergie Griffith of Maude, OH; three grandchildren, Page Whited (Chris) of Lehigh Acres, FL, Chad Morgan (Chrissy) of Ft. Myers, FL and Jackson Morgan of Lehigh Acres, FL; five great grandchildren, Chantel, Chelsea, Chloe, Joey and Grace; as well as two great-great grandchildren, Makenzie and Ryleigh.
Ina was preceded in death by her first husband, Creed Morgan in 1971 and her second husband, Taft Gilliam in 2002 as well as a son, Bobby Morgan in 1992.
A private celebration of her life will be held November 28th in the home of Don & Alyce Morgan.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Jack Bruce Scholarship Fund, established by the Rockcastle Association of Kentucky Baptists, P.O. Box 446, Mt. Vernon, KY 40456.
