Stittums and Clark led off the game with singles and both scored sacrifice flies, one each by Jenkins and Sergent.

Robinson, Mallory Johnson and Jessie Johnson had RBI singles in the bottom of the inning as the lead grew to 8-1 before Hazard pitcher Chandler Morgan worked out of the jam by getting Chyanna Harris to hit into a 1-2-3 double play.
Hazard scored two unearned runs in the sixth inning. Jenkins struck out Chandler Morgan for what should have been the third out, but the ball was dropped by Robinson and threw to Sergent at first base went into right field, allowing two runs to score.
Clark, Sergent and Robinson had singles in the sixth inning to produce Harlan County’s last run.
Tori Wells had a double and single to lead Hazard (14-13). Robinson and Aaleiah Stupart added singles.
