The fourth annual Village Center Mall Festival of the Arts and Authors, sponsored by Jewelcraft, was Saturday with a turnout of numerous local authors and artists from around the area. Many of the books, CDs and DVDs are still available at Jewelcraft. Thelma Lawson Haley and Darla Saylor Jackson were on hand with their new book entitled “Mystical Mountains.” Haley and Jackson won first place for their table presentation during the event. Terry Muncy, script writer for the movie “Stand Like a Mountain,” was on hand with his newly released DVDs as well as a showing of the movie. Muncy performed several of the songs during the festival in which we wrote for the movie.
