She was preceded in death by her husband Nelson Halcomb, her parents Harrison and Liza Williams Couch, a son Roger Napier, a brother Elmer Couch, and sisters Daisy Perry and Mae Falls.
Survivors include children Larry Napier and wife Pat of Kings Creek, Rita Halcomb and husband Ricky of Linefork, Carlisa Caudill and husband Bill of Tennessee, and Kathy Jo Napier and husband Morris of Colston KY, brothers Lonnie and Willie Couch both of Ages KY. Fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.
The family will receive friends Sunday, January 27, 2013, after 2 PM at the Linefork House of Prayer. Funeral services will be Monday, January 28, 2013, at 2PM with Patrick Shepherd and Mary Bennett officiating. Following the funeral service, burial will be held at the Halcomb Cemetery in Linefork KY.
Anthony Halcomb, Cody Gibson, T. J. Gibson, Dakota Napier, Ricky Calton, Joe Morris Jr., and J. C. Jenkins will serve as pallbearers.

Melvin Burnett
Melvin Eugene (Gene) Burnett, 72 of Harlan passed away Saturday Jan. 26, 2013 at the Harlan ARH.
Gene was born Jan. 12, 1941 to the late Arnold W. Burnett and Alta Hatmaker Burnett.
He is survived by his brother, Roy P. Burnett of Tazewell, TN and half brother, Jimmy Whitaker of Harlan; he leaves several nieces, nephews, cousins to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be Tuesday Jan. 29, 2013 from 5 – 7:00 pm at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm in the Chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones with Rev. Kermit Creech and Rev. Winfred Causey officiating.
Graveside services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday Jan. 30, 2013 at the Resthaven Cemetery Chapel.
