A single-vehicle crash at Bobs Creek sent two people to the hospital Monday with injuries. Kentucky State Police Trooper James Earl Hensley said William N. Greene, 52, of Dayhoit, was traveling north in a pickup truck when he lost control and flipped over into a fenced yard belonging to magistrate Jim Roddy. Debra Greene, 49, of Dayhoit, was a passenger in the vehicle. The Greenes were removed from the vehicle by members of the Harlan County Rescue Squad and LifeCare Ambulance Service. William Greene was airlifted to Holston Valley Medical Center, in Kingsport, Tenn. Debra Greene was later transported from Harlan ARH Hospital to Holston Valley Medical Center due to the extent of her injuries. Members of the Martins Fork Fire Department assisted at the scene.
