The following cases have been heard in Harlan District Court, Judge Jeff Brock presiding.

Barry L. Elliott, 36, failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security (first offense), failure to produce insurance card, expired or no Kentucky registration receipt — first two charges, continued for arraignment; other charge dismissed on proof.

Natasha Saylor, 33, failure to wear seat belt, expired or no registration plate, expired or no Kentucky registration receipt, improper registration plate, failure to register transfer of a motor vehicle, license plate not illuminated, failure to produce insurance card — continued for arraignment.

Christopher G. Gilley, 20, speeding (16 miles per hour over the limit), failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance (first offense) — continued for arraignment Nov. 2.

Houston C. Fugate, 18, improper equipment, expired or no Kentucky registration receipt, license to be in possession, failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security (first offense) — first two charges, continued for arraignment; other charges dismissed.

Joseph Jones, 26, expired or no registration plate, expired or no Kentucky registration receipt, failure to produce insurance card, failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security (first offense), operating vehicle on suspended/ revoked operator’s license — continued for arraignment.

Robert B. Simpson, 29, operating vehicle on suspended/revoked operator’s license, failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security (first offense), expired or no Kentucky registration receipt — continued for arraignment Nov. 9.

Johnny Logan, 29, failure to produce insurance card, failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security (first offense) — dismissed on proof.

Erin N. Kelly, 26, speeding (26 or more miles per hour over the limit) — pleaded guilty, fined $133 and sentenced to traffic school.

James R. Langley, 63, second-offense driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, careless driving, expired or no Kentucky registration receipt, failure to wear seat belt — failed to appear for hearing.

Jamie L. Stewart, 31, speeding (26 or more miles per hour over the limit) — pleaded guilty, fined $133 and sentenced to traffic school.

Tina M. Caldwell, 40, license to be in possession, expired or no registration plate, expired or no Kentucky registration receipt — continued for arraignment.

Deanna C. Woodsby, 39, license to be in possession, expired or no Kentucky registration receipt, failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance (first offense), failure to produce insurance card — continued for arraignment.

Adam T. Smith, 24, failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security (first offense), failure to produce insurance card — continued for arraignment.

Jed E. Johnson, 28, failure to produce insurance card — dismissed on proof.

Sidney H. Helton, 39, license to be in possession — continued for arraignment.

Earnest A. Beaman, 20, speeding (13 miles per hour over the limit), no rear-view mirror, license plate not illuminated, improper equipment, improper display of registration plate — first charge, pleaded guilty, fined $26 (court costs waived); other charges dismissed.

Tiffany Carver, 22, speeding (18 miles per hour over the limit), failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security (first offense), no operator’s/ moped license, license plate not illuminated — continued for arraignment.

Dallen T. Smith, 27, speeding (11 miles per hour over the limit), operating vehicle with one headlight, license plate not illuminated, improper equipment, failure to produce insurance card — dismissed on warning, proof and repair.

Ashley Goldsberry, 19, speeding (20 miles per hour over the limit), no operator’s/moped license, careless driving, license plate not illuminated — first charge, pleaded guilty, fined $133 and sentenced to traffic school; other charges dismissed.

Angela J. Bray, 18, speeding (15 miles per hour over the limit), license plate not illuminated — continued for arraignment.

Nancy E. Mefford, 43, speeding (15 miles per hour over the limit), failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security (first offense) — continued for arraignment.

Victoria M. Swanson, 19, speeding (25 miles per hour over the limit), careless driving — dismissed on emergency.

Brandon R. Bell, 25, first-degree criminal trespassing — jury trial set Feb. 9.

Robbie H. Holbrook, 31, alcohol intoxication in a public place (first offense) — continued for arraignment.

Tommy L. Lamb, 36, alcohol intoxication in a public place (first offense) — pleaded guilty, fined $25 (court costs waived).

David W. Calton, 37, speeding (11 miles per hour over the limit) — continued for arraignment.

Larry W. Campbell, 32, speeding (11 miles per hour over the limit) — amended to improper equipment, pleaded guilty, fined $158.

Misty S. Smith, 30, speeding (five miles per hour over the limit) — dismissed on repair.

Johnny E. Perkins, 39, failure to wear seat belt — pleaded guilty, fined $25.

Doyle Cornett, 59, speeding (19 miles per hour over the limit) — dismissed on warning.

Elizabeth Farmer, 33, disregarding traffic control device (traffic light) — dismissed on warning.

Stephanie D. Helton, 20, speeding (15 miles per hour over the limit) — dismissed on repair.

Justin Hughes, 39, third-degree terroristic threatening — dismissed on agreement of peace bond.

Wesley J. Holbrook, 24, third-degree terroristic threatening — dismissed.

James Dixon, 35, second-offense driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, criminal littering, operating vehicle on suspended/ revoked operator’s license, failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance (first offense), failure to produce insurance card, operating vehicle with expired operator’s license, failure to notify address change to the transportation department, residents not to use license of other state, failure to wear seat belt — first two charges, pleaded guilty, fined $858, operator’s license suspended 12 months and sentenced to eight days in jail; other charges dismissed.

Marcus Hollingsworth, 31, violation of Kentucky E.P.O. — pleaded guilty, sentenced to 120 days in jail.

Arthur Neal, 40, alcohol intoxication in a public place (first offense) — continued for arraignment.

Clem Shepherd Jr., 42, two counts of violating federal safety regulations — dismissed.

Oney M. Caudill, 28, failure to wear seat belt — pleaded guilty, fined $25.

Jerry G. Joseph, 19, second-offense driving under the influence of alcohol/ drugs — pleaded guilty, fined $858, operator’s license suspended 12 months and sentenced to 14 days in jail and driving school.

Shrelia A. Fuller, 47, second-offense driving under the influence of alcohol/ drugs — jury trial continues Nov. 10.

Eric A. Huff, 24, second-offense driving under the influence of alcohol/ drugs — pleaded guilty, fined $858, operator’s license suspended 12 months and sentenced to 28 days in jail.

Christie Durham, 34, license plate not illuminated, failure to wear seat belt, first-offense driving under the influence of alcohol/ drugs, prescription drug in improper container (first offense) — jury trial set Feb. 16.

James O. Smith, 59, violating federal safety regulations — dismissed on proof.

Jackie L. Bailey, 50, two counts of violating federal safety regulations — dismissed on proof.

David Baldwin, 43, second-degree possession of a controlled substance (first offense), possession of marijuana — preliminary hearing scheduled Nov. 9.

Alan Dabney, 46, alcohol intoxication in a public place (first offense) — failed to appear for hearing.

Raymond Moses, 29, alcohol intoxication in a public place (first offense) — pleaded guilty, fined $25 (court costs waived).

Abelino Torres, 38, fourth-degree assault (domestic violence with minor injury), alcohol intoxication in a public place (first offense) — first charge, amended to disorderly conduct, pleaded guilty, fined $208 on both charges.

Catise Latham, 24, theft by unlawful taking (shoplifting, under $300) — pretrial conference set Dec. 1.

Christie D. Durham, 34, second-degree disorderly conduct, fourth-degree assault (with minor injury), resisting arrest — dismissed at request of complaining party.

William G. Delph, 25, trafficking marijuana (8 ounces or less, first offense) — pleaded guilty, sentenced to 90 days in jail (court costs waived).

George Hensley, 47, falsely reporting an incident — pleaded guilty, sentenced to 39 days in jail.

Kenneth F. Cox, 35, failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security (first offense), operating vehicle on suspended/ revoked operator’s license — dismissed.

Christopher D, Mason, 38, second-offense driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, inadequate silencer (muffler) — first charge, pleaded guilty, fined $858, operator’s license suspended 12 months and sentenced to seven days in jail and driving school; other charge dismissed.

Stuart B. Lemarr, 29, leaving the scene of an accident/failure to render aid or assistance, second-offense driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs, failure to produce insurance card — jury trial continues Feb. 16.

Nancy C. Hunt-McCoy, 46, failure to wear seat belt — dismissed on warning.

Joshua N. Blanton, 26, fourth-degree assault (with minor injury) — jury trial set Jan. 5.

Angelina R. Greene, 18, theft by unlawful taking (shoplifting, under $300) — pleaded guilty, fined $233 and sentenced to 30 days in jail (probated for 24 months) and ordered to stay out of Don’s Super Saver.

Allison Shanks, 34, second-degree criminal mischief, leaving the scene of an accident/failure to render aid or assistance, failure to register transfer of a motor vehicle, failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security (first offense) — pretrial conference set Nov. 2.

Carla Marie Day, 26, first-degree promoting contraband, first-degree trafficking a controlled substance (first offense) — presented to grand jury.

Tiffany R. Jones, 22, speeding (15 miles per hour over the limit) — dismissed on repair.

James Starrett, 35, alcohol intoxication in a public place (first offense) — continued for arraignment Nov. 2.

Dennis Branim, 43, fourth-offense driving under the influence of alcohol/drugs — amended to third-offense driving under the influence of alcohol/ drugs, jury trial set Feb. 16 (bond set at 10 percent of $7,500).
