The following cases have been heard in Harlan District Court, Judge Jeff Brock presiding.

Larry G. Stagnolia, 62, first-offense driving under the influence of alcohol/ drugs, operating vehicle on suspended/revoked operator’s license, failure to wear seat belt, expired or no registration plate, failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security (first offense), second-degree disorderly conduct, menacing, third-degree terroristic threatening — failed to appear for hearing.

James Taylor, 31, fourth-degree assault (domestic violence with minor injury) — charge dropped.

Amanda Gilliam, 22, fishing without a license/permit — pleaded guilty, fined $158.

Ellisia Ratliff, 19, fishing without a license/permit — pleaded guilty, fined $158.

Jordan Farmer, 19, public intoxication of a controlled substance (excludes alcohol) — continued for arraignment Jan. 25.

Mark K. Poteet, 23, fourth-degree assault (domestic violence with no visible injury) — pretrial conference set Nov. 9.

Jeffery A. Thompson, 43, first-offense driving under the influence of alcohol/ drugs, use/possession of drug paraphernalia (first offense) — pleaded not guilty, jury trial set Jan. 26.

Brian J. Swanson, 28, second-degree disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, menacing — pleaded not guilty, jury trial set Feb. 16.

Sam Gaines, 44, second-degree disorderly conduct — continued for arraignment.

Cletus Robbins Jr., 54, third-degree terroristic threatening — pleaded not guilty, jury trial set Feb. 9.

Ruby Sargent, 58, third-degree terroristic threatening — pleaded not guilty, pretrial conference set Nov. 2.

Mason J. Meister, 19, expired or no other state registration receipt or plate, resident registered/titled vehicle in other state, failure to notify address change to the transportation department, no rear-view mirror, license plate not illuminated, residents not to use license of other state, obstructed vision and/or windshield — jury trial set Dec. 15.

Arthur Couch, first-degree criminal trespassing — pretrial conference set Nov. 9.

Harold Hensley, 31, fourth-degree assault (domestic violence with minor injury) — pleaded not guilty, jury trial set Feb. 2.

Gladys Holland, 30, operating vehicle with expired operator’s license, license to be in possession, no operator’s/moped license, expired or no registration plate, expired or no Kentucky registration receipt, failure to register transfer of a motor vehicle, failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security (first offense), failure to produce insurance card — first three charges, continued for arraignment Jan. 25; other charges dismissed.

Carl D. Howard, 43, no operator’s/moped license, expired or no Kentucky registration receipt, failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security (first offense) — failed to appear for hearing.

Mark Burkhart, 42, commercial driver not licensed, two counts of violating federal safety regulations — continued for arraignment Dec. 14.

Benjamin Marin, 23, no operator’s/moped license — failed to appear for hearing.

William Hendrix, 26, operating vehicle on suspended/revoked operator’s license, license to be in possession, failure to wear seat belt, failure to register transfer of a motor vehicle — first two charges, continued for arraignment Nov. 9; other charges dismissed.

Angel P. Baldwin, 21, failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security (first offense), failure to produce insurance card, expired or no Kentucky registration receipt, failure to wear seat belt, no operator’s/moped license, instructional permit violations, improper equipment — first three charges, continued for arraignment Jan. 25; other charges dismissed on proof and repair.

Justin Williams, 25, speeding (15 miles per hour over the limit), operating vehicle on suspended/ revoked operator’s license — failed to appear for hearing.

Randall L. Bentley Jr., 25, failure of owner to maintain required insurance/ security (first offense), failure to produce insurance card, failure to give or improper signal — continued for arraignment.

Karen Beverly, 32, license to be in possession, expired or no Kentucky registration receipt, failure to produce insurance card — continued for arraignment Oct. 26.

Jamie R. Brackett, 23, speeding (10 miles per hour over the limit), expired or no registration plate, expired or no Kentucky registration receipt, driving too fast for traffic conditions — continued for arraignment.

Johnny R. Martin, 31, violating federal safety regulations — dismissed on proof.

Cari Westfelt, 27, failure to wear seat belt, operating vehicle on suspended/ revoked operator’s license, no operator’s/moped license, improper equipment, failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security (first offense), failure to produce insurance card, expired or no Kentucky registration receipt — continued for arraignment Oct. 26.

Lloyd G. Lewis, 38, speeding (10 miles per hour over the limit) — failed to appear for hearing.

Nicholas Colinger, 22, expired or no registration plate, expired or no Kentucky registration receipt, failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security (first offense), failure to produce insurance card — dismissed.

Brenda Frith, 23, failure to notify address change to the transportation department, failure to illuminate headlights — dismissed on proof and warning.

Sabrina A. Jackson, 36, improper equipment, speeding (10 miles per hour over the limit), failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security (first offense), failure to produce insurance card — first charge, pleaded guilty, fined $25; other charges dismissed.

Brett M. Cochran, 28, speeding (21 miles per hour over the limit) — failed to appear for hearing.

Ruby B. Baker, 75, failure of owner to maintain required insurance/security (first offense) — pleaded guilty, fined $500 (court costs waived).

Linda M. Saylor, 45, disregarding traffic control device (traffic light), failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance (first offense), failure to produce insurance card — dismissed on proof and warning.

Rebecca Combs, 22, expired or no registration plate, expired or no Kentucky registration receipt, failure to register transfer of a motor vehicle, no rear-view mirror, failure to wear seat belt, license to be in possession, improper equipment, improper display of registration plate — dismissed on proof and repair.

Gregory M. Bennett, 29, speeding (12 miles per hour over the limit), improper registration plate, improper display of registration plate, failure to notify address change to the transportation department — continued for arraignment.
