Harlan County Homemaker’s Book Club member Tina Chugg, left, of Coldiron, served cookies, milk and juice drinks to hundreds of children who attended their annual Dashing Into Reading With Santa event held Thursday at the Harlan County Extension Depot. Thousands of books, favors, milk, juice and cookies were available for children and adults alike during the event.
