David Michael Edwards, age 52, of Evarts passed away Friday, January 11, 2013, at his home. Born August 1, 1960 in Cincinnati, Ohio, he had lived here most of his life. David was a hard worker, having worked on construction jobs nearly all of his life. He was most content when serving and caring for others.

David is preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Isabell Gibbs Edwards; his grandmother, Cora Mumford; two brothers-in-law, Steve Mills and Chad Seets; and special uncle, Wako Hurst.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon; his daughter, Lindsay, who was the joy of his life; one brother, Roger Edwards and wife, Lynn, Tremont; four sisters, Lisa Mills, Putney; Patricia “Teresa” Foley and husband, Calvin, Harlan; Debbie Tomlinson, Oak Ridge, TN; Janice Lawson and husband, Dan, Harlan; a special nephew, Derek Mills; and his aunt, Alice Hurst. David loved his nieces and nephews as though they were his own children. Many other family members and friends are also left to mourn his passing.

A private graveside service will be held at Resthaven Cemetery. At his request, no other services will be held.
