While attempting to locate a person in the Rosspoint community, a concerned citizen stopped Harlan County Sheriff’s deputies and informed them of suspicious activity going on an out-building.
“The citizen advised deputies that several men had been going to an out-building and their actions seemed suspicious,” said deputy Mitch Alford. “While checking for activity, deputies located a bottle containing 636 pills that are believed to be muscle relaxers. The street value of the pills is believed to be over $3,000.”
Alford said the investigation is still ongoing.
Harlan County Sheriff’s deputies have several leads into the investigation of the drugs and charges are expected to follow.
