Cumberland Valley Electric representative Rich Prewitt presented a program on electrical safety to the students at Cumberland Elementary School on Oct. 10. He spoke to the children about the dangers of electricity, how electricity is made and various safety measures that everyone should always use when they are around electricity. Prewitt showed the students some of the safety equipment used by utility workers such as heavy insulated gloves. This program was sponsored by the Cumberland Elementary School Family Resource and Youth Service Center for grades three through eight.
