Frank J. Brewer, age 65 of Cawood, KY passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at Harlan ARH after a courageous battle with cancer. He was the son of the late Hiram and Bessie (Stepp) Brewer.

He was preceded in death by one son, Donald Wayne Noe; 1 sister, Georgia Cain; and 1 brother, Norman Edward Brewer.

Survivors include his loving wife of 31 years, Virgie Woodard Brewer of Cawood; 3 daughters, Missy Brewer and companion Jamie Engle of Rose Hill, VA, Stacy Noe and companion Rod Allen of Lexington, KY, and Billie Noe and companion Earl Sanders of Cawood; 5 grandchildren, Brandi and Zach Johnson of Evarts, Alex and Megan Noe of Alabama, Joey Grubbs, Kylie Noe and Kobe Noe all of Cawood; 2 brothers, Jim Brewer of Harlan and John Brewer of Royal Oak, MI; 3 sisters, Nancy Green, Marie Green, and Joyce Fields all of Cawood; and 2 great-grandchildren, Emilee Johnson and Allison Noe. Many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends also survive.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 10, 2012 from 6-9 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Gary Craig, Sr. officiating. Special singing by, Aarin Collett, Jason and Crystal Collins. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Keith, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
