An Enterprise Staff Report

Four Harlan pitchers combined on a two-hitter with 17 strikeouts in a 10-3 win over Pulaski County in the District 4 Tournament for 11 year olds on Thursday at Middlesboro.

Benjamin Lewis struck out three in one inning. Gabe Price fanned seven in 2 1/3 innings. Garry Henson struck out five in two innings. Jacob WIlson struck out two in 2/3 of an inning to finish the game.

Henson led Harlan at the plate with a triple, double and single. Josh Turner had three singles. Jordan Steele, Wilson and James Gray added two singles each. Lewis had a double. Jacob Thompson singled.

Nelson and Simms had singles for Pulask County.

Harlan will play today’s Corbin-Knox County winner on Saturday at 7 in the winners bracket semifinals.
