James Ronald Bargo, age 66 of Harlan, KY passed away on Friday, December 14, 2012 at Harlan ARH Hospital. He was born October 18, 1946 in Harlan, KY to the late Herschel and Naomi (Fagan) Bargo. Ronald was a Veteran of the United States Army having served in Korea and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was an electrician and attended the Sunshine Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Ronald is preceded in death by his brother Wayne Bargo.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his children, Brent Bargo and wife Cristi of Harlan, KY, Kelly Vandagriff of Loyall, KY, Chris Bargo of Shields, KY, and Brandon Bargo and wife Cheyenne of Harlan, KY; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Bobbie Parker of Lexington, KY and Beverly Vanover and husband Lawrence of Hendersonville, NC; the mothers of his children, Kay Bargo of Cawood, KY and Kathy Downs of Harlan, KY; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends also survive.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 17, 2012 from 5-7 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 7 p.m. in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Craig, Sr. officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at 12 o’clock noon at Resthaven Cemetery in Keith, KY with family serving as pallbearers. Military honors will be provided by the Harlan County Honor Guard.
