Jamie Lee Collins, age 31 of Baxter, KY passed away Monday, December 10, 2012 at Lee County Community Hospital due to injuries sustained in work related accident. He was employed as a driver by J&K Transportation. Jamie enjoyed racing Mustangs and UT Sports.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Elhannon and Polly Collins and Frank and Luverna (Bill) Branson.

Survivors include his wife, Shaunda Collins of Baxter, KY; one son, Peyton Collins of Baxter, KY; his father, Lonnie Collins, Sr. and mother, Shelia Collins of Baxter, KY; one brother, Lonnie Collins, Jr. and wife Mariea of Baxter, KY; three nieces, Kimber Collins and Shayla Collins of Baxter, KY and Shyla Blevins of Loyall, KY; two nephews, Trent and Cooper Blevins of Loyall, KY; mother-in-law, Mary Wilder and husband Bill of Jonesville, VA; and sister-in-law, Shannon Elliot and husband Steve of Loyall, KY. Several aunts, uncles, cousins and relatives also survive.

Visitation will be held after 5 p.m. on Thursday, December 13, 2012 at the Church of the Living God in Baxter, KY and will continue until the funeral hour on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the church with the Rev. Darrell Turner, Rev. Anthony Noe, and Rev. Terry Branson officiating. Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Keith, KY with friends serving as pallbearers.
