A native of Harlan, he was self-employed as a retail merchant and believed in the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John L. and Fannie Blair Creech; and one son, John Walker Creech.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Faye Polly Creech, Cumberland; four children: Terry Creech, Cumberland; Sherry Jackson, Blair; Chrystal Hill, Corbin; and Veronica Boggs, Corbin; 10 grandchildren; one great grandchild; and one brother, Herbert Creech, Cumberland.
Visitation was Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Day & Jones Funeral Home.
Services were private.
Day & Jones Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
