The Cumberland Lady Skins avenged their most recent loss Thursday with a 6-4 victory over visiting Hazard.
The Lady Bulldogs defeated Cumberland 7-3 on April 19. The Lady Skins have won three straight games since then.
Senior Dawn Metcalf (7-3) earned the victory on the mound for Cumberland, scattering three hits while collecting five strikeouts and three walks.
Kelsey Day and Jessica Creech led the Lady Skins' offensive attack with a double and a single each. Lindsay Collier, Stacy Houser, Ashley Creech and Natasha Pennington each added a single.
Jessica Creech smacked a two-run double in the bottom of the fifth, driving in Day and Collier, to break a 4-4 tie.
Cumberland (7-4) returns to action today at Fleming-Neon.

The Harlan Lady Dragons snapped a two-game losing skid in grand fashion Thursday, pounding out 17 hits as they cruised to a 16-3 victory in five innings over visiting Williamsburg.
Seventh-grader Emily Caudill (6-4) surrendered four hits with two strikeouts and six walks as she picked up the win.
Jessica Rice turned in an impressive plate performance for Harlan. The senior led the Lady Dragons with a triple, two doubles and a single. Courtney Bell added three singles. Tierra Sundy doubled and singled, and Rhonda Curtis added a pair of singles. Britany Jones, Megan Ball, Alex Yount, Alexandria Allison, Brittany Smith and Kerri McCarthy each singled.
Harlan (10-8) returns to action Monday at Pineville.
