Lester E."Chub" Vaughn 58, of Grays Knob, Ky. Passed away April 12, 2007 at the Bristol Medical Center in Bristol, TN. He was a native of St.Charles, Va. Born May 19,1954. He was a veteran, of the US Army serving during the Vietnam Era in Europe. He was a member of Loyall Lodge # 930 F&AM and a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Jaycees.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Willie B. Vaughn and Violet J. Vanzant Vaughn. 0ne son: Terry Lee Vaughn. 0ne sister; Sherry Vaughn.

He is survived by two daughters; Love Hobson and Husband Brian of Johnson City, TN. and Christa Vaughn of Chatworth,Ga. 10 brothers and sisters: David Vaughn of Baxter, Ky; Tony Vaughn and wife Martha of Grays Knob, Ky.; Marie Laws and husband Terry of Flat Lick, Ky.;Sue Clark of Buena Vesta, VA.; Gail Shepherd, Kay Shepherd, Kathy Bryant and husband KP, Donna Philpot and husband Raymond all of Grays Knob, KY.; Judy Casteel and husband Kenny of Harlan, Ky. and Venetta Adkins of Harlan. Several Nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be held Monday April 16, 2007 at the Grays Knob Church of God in Grays Knob, Ky. from 12:00 P.M. til the funeral hour on Tuesday.

Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday April 17, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the Grays Knob Church of God in Grays Knob, Ky. with the Rev. Don Smith officiating.

Pallbearers will be nephews' and Jeremey Maiden and the Harlan County Honor Guard.

Military rites will be held at the cemetery by the Harlan County Honor Guard.

Mr. Vaughn will be laid to rest in the Grays Knob Cemetery.
