Louella Irvin Smith, 93, of Dayton, OH, went home to be with the Lord on January 7, 2013. She was born March 6, 1919 to Holly and Laura (Napier) Irvin at Lenarue. She resided at Cawood for many years before relocating to Dayton. She was retired from St. Elizabeth Hospital in Dayton after twenty years of service.

Louella was preceded in death by her husband, James Harrison Smith; her father and mother, Holly and Laura Irvin; and a granddaughter, Marsha Anne Smith.

She is survived by three sons, Doyle W. Smith and wife Donna, of Three Point, KY; James E. Smith and wife Betty, of Church Hill, TN; and Holly Warren Smith of Kettering, OH. Also surviving are three grandchildren, James Michael Smith and wife Amy, Jellico, TN; Jennifer Lynn Wyatt and husband Mark, of Kingsport, TN; and Susan E. Thomas and husband Mike, of Three Point, KY.

Funeral services were conducted January 11, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home in Kettering, Ohio with Rev. Stephen Muyah officiating.
