Lucille Williams Griffey, age87, of Dayhoit, KY passed away February 25, 2013 at the Harlan ARH following a long illness. She was born November 3, 1925 in Harlan, KY to the late Lige and Allie Kelly Williams. She retired from the food service industry. Lucille believed in the Church of God faith.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Leeman Griffey, son, James E. Garland, 4 brothers and 2 sisters, granddaughters April Williams and Charlene Harris.

Left to mourn her passing are her children, Larry and wife, Eva Griffey of Knightstown, IN, Charles R. and wife, Henrietta Griffey of Dayhoit, KY, Sandra L. and Byrd Hensley of Dayhoit, KY, Brenda and James Graham of Dayhoit, KY, Glenda K. an Earl Williams of Baxter, KY, brothers, Delbert Williams of Dayhoit, KY, Wayne Williams of Diamond, OH, sisters, Mary and Garth Hall of Streetsboro, OH, 23 grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and many family and friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, February 28, 2013 from 12 to 2PM. Funeral following at 2PM with Rev. Arnold Martin officiating. Burial will follow at the Whitestar Cemetery in Dayhoit, KY.
