Michael Pillion, 64 of Coldiron passed away Tuesday Feb. 19, 2013 at his home.

Mr. Pillion was born Feb. 7, 1949 in Harlan, KY to the late Archie and Betty Sue Howard Pillion. He was a disabled Veteran of the United States Army.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Karen Miracle.

He leaves his loving wife, Kimberly Platt Pillion of Coldiron; daughters, Jeana Sue Pillion (John) of Stanton, KY, Joy Michelle Slone (Justin) of West Richland, Washington; his son, Martin Michael Pillion (Stacy) of Rancho Cordova, California; granddaughter, Hailey Slone and grandson, Joseph Slone both of West Richland, Washington; sister, Paula Brock (Ronnie) of Corbin, KY; brothers, Randy Pillion (Lisa) of Asheboro, NC and Scott Pillion (Angie) of Sharps Chapel, TN; his father and mother-in-law, Bob and Faye Platt of Loyall.

Visitation will be Friday, Feb. 22, 2013 from 5 until 7:00 pm at the Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.

A celebration of life service will follow at 7:00 pm in the chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones.

In lieu of flowers the family request memorials to the Harlan Co. Animal Shelter in memory of Mike.
