A mock disaster drill was held Monday on the Cumberland campus of Southeast Kentucky Community & Technical College with over 100 students, faculty and staff participating. Students enrolled in the school’s nursing program at Cumberland and Pineville took part, joining with area first responders and police agencies. The scenario was a strike by an F-3 tornado, as victims with varying degrees of injuries were transported from the Edsel Godbey Appalachian Center to triage areas set up on campus.
