I watched the UK-Louisville game to open the season. And that was it.
Since then, I've watched approximately one half of one game (the Alabama game). And that was only because I was at a family reunion and someone else turned it on.
I didn't even know about the humiliating loss to Ohio until Monday evening, two days after the game. That's how much I care.
And I'm not a fair-weather fan. I stuck with my beloved Indianapolis Colts through back-to-back 3-13 seasons, as well as the 6-10 debacle in 2001 (playoffs?!).
I simply can't get excited about a program that's so tolerant of ineptitude.
How UK president Lee Todd and athletic director Mitch Barnhart can continue to stand behind Rich Brooks is beyond me.
Yes, the Wildcats are hampered by NCAA sanctions. Yes, they've been competitive in a couple of games against superior teams (Alabama and South Carolina).
But more often than not, they've shown a complete lack of heart (in case you missed the previous reference, they lost to Ohio).
Nobody's expecting the Cats to go anywhere near undefeated
