Roger Dale Greene age 57 of Corbin, KY (formerly of Harlan County) passed away Monday, October 8, 2012 at his residence. He was born April 10, 1955. He was employed as a salesman for Martin Peterbilt and believed in the Pentecostal faith. Roger was a member of the Lion’s Club.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Greene.

Survivors include his mother Wyvona Engle Greene of Corbin, KY; his wife, Odie (Brock) Greene of Corbin, KY; two children, Misty Allison Greene and boyfriend Dan of Grand Rapids, MI, and Brandon Lloyd Greene and wife Amanda of Barbourville, KY; one grandson, Branson Cooper Dale Greene; mother-in-law, Polly B. Duncan of Bigelow, KY; sisters-in-law, Betty Daniels and husband Steve of Pickney, MI, Emma Hoskins of Bigelow, KY; special friends, Mike Shoemaker, Wayne McKinney, Teddy Cook, Sheb Collett, Terry Martin, Richie Collins, Bill Clem, Troy Saylor and “Hollywood”. Several other relatives and friends also survive.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 12, 2012 from 5-8 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, October 13, 2012 at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home with the Rev. Joey Hoskins and Rev. Troy Saylor officiating. Burial will follow at Brown Cemetery in Bledsoe, KY with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
