The 48th annual Harlan County Shriners Horse Show and Fair opened its doors on Thursday where individuals began registering their handmade items to be judged. Sherri Nantz, of Cranks, is seen registering a handmade Harlan County Black Bear box with Harlan County 4-H assistant Sherry Baird. All items will be on display for the public to view after 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday during the horse show at the Shriner’s Fairgrounds located at Putney.
