Thelma W. Hagy, age 89, born October 07, 1922, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at her home in Rutledge, Tennessee surrounded by her family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandma. She was a member of the Lynch United Methodist Church.

Preceded in death by her parents, Mr and Mrs. Hiram Wooten; husband, Charles H. Hagy Jr.; son, Richard L. Hagy; brothers, Hamp Wooten and Biege Wooten; sisters, Mary Hoskins, Arizona Wilder, Mallie Ross, Malta Wood, Verna Stewart, Odessa Greene and Wanda March.

She is survived by her daughter, Nancy A. Hagy; sons, Charles D. Hagy and Barb, and John M. Hagy and Mary; daughter-in-law, Nancy S. Hagy; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

The family will receive friends in the chapel of the Tri City Funeral Home on Saturday, September 15, 2012, between 11 am and 1 pm. Funeral service will follow visitation on Saturday in the chapel at 1 pm. Interment will be in the Monte Vista Cemetery in Cumberland. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
