A veterans benefits field representative will be at the National Guard Armory in Harlan on the second Tuesday of each month, Nov. 10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The first Monday is a holiday, so the representative will be in Harlan on the third Monday this month. Veterans and their dependents will receive assistance filing for federal and state veterans benefits.

This service is provided free of charge by the Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairs. To apply, veterans need to furnish copies of pertinent documentation to verify eligibility.
