A two-car collision resulted in five people being transported to Harlan ARH Hospital on Wednesday. According to Harlan City Police Officer John D. Noe, a gray 2008 Honda Odyssey driven by Adele Hendrickson-Cornett, Harlan, and a red 2003 Pontiac Grand Am driven by Casey Lewis, Stinnett, collided at the intersection of U.S. 421 and KY 72. Cornet, Lewis, and three unidentified passengers that were riding with Lewis were transported to the hospital. Noe said no serious injuries were apparent at the scene. Noe was assisted at the scene by Harlan Police officers Jeff Owens and Will Pope. LifeCare Ambulance Service also assisted.
