Rosspoint downs Black Mountain

Drew Nolan, Jared Sizemore and Kennon Napier each had 13 points to lift Rosspoint to a 54-34 victory over Black Mountain in recent seventh- and eighth-grade basketball action.

Trent McKenzie fired in 17 points to pace the Tigers.

Alex Pace had 14 points and Drake Ward added 13 to send Black Mountain to a 52-42 win in the fifth- and sixth-grade contest.

Garry Henson and Dalton Johnson each recorded 15 points to pace the Wildcats.

Tigers claim win over Falcons

Trent McKenzie’s 17 points powered Black Mountain to a 51-22 victory in seventh- and eighth-grade basketball action on Tuesday.

Lucas Boggs recorded 18 points to pace the Falcons.

In previously unreported action, the Tigers downed Wallins 47-15 in a fifth- and sixth-grade contest. Alex Pace and Jarrett McKenzie each had 11 points to lead BMS.

Taylor Spurlock’s nine points led the Purple Devils.
