Receiving the prestigious Tony Turner Leadership Award at the annual Tri-City Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet was longtime Southeast Kentucky Community and Technical College educator and activist Carolyn Sundy (center). Presenting the award was chamber president Roland Cornett (right) and vice president Dr. Bruce Ayers. Keynote speaker Reecie D. Stagnolia III, vice president for Kentucky Adult Education with the Council on Postsecondary Education, spoke to a large crowd at the Tri-City Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet on Thursday.
