An early morning fire Saturday at Triple J Service Station in Evarts destroyed office space causing thousands of dollars worth of damage. Evarts Fire Chief Cledo Powers said his department responded to the fire at about 3 a.m. and found the station office filled with smoke. He said the blaze is suspicious in nature and the state fire marshal has been called in to investigate. Station manager Density Lewis said the service station has been burglarized in recent months. More details will be available in Tuesday’s Enterprise.
