At a grand opening event on Saturday, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held for the new Dollar General Store located U.S. 119 at Coldiron. Participating in the event were from left District 5 Magistrate Delbert Stephens, Assistant Manager Susie Hall and Manager Matanda Deal. Customers enjoyed special deals and free prizes. The first 50 shoppers received $10 gift cards and the first 200 shoppers received a Dollar General tote bag filled with gifts. Deal said the 7,311 square feet store offers convenience and value to customers by providing a focused selection of national brands and private brands of food, housewares, seasonal items, cleaning supplies, basic apparel and health and beauty care products.
