Staff Report
A Middlesboro man is being sought after his escape from the Marion County Adjustment Center.
On May 29, George Wesley Upton, 33, walked away from the center. He was serving a 10-year sentence for wanton endangerment on a police officer. Upton was also charged with fleeing or evading police.
The prisoner is said to have several tattoos on his chest, back, neck and arms. Upton is suspected to be driving a silver GMC pickup truck, which was recently reported stolen.
Anyone with information of the whereabouts of Upton is asked to call local law enforcement officials.
