Nursing Home Week celebrated

Harlan Health & Rehabilitation Center will be celebrating National Nursing Home Week May 11-17. Harlan County Judge Executive Joe Grieshop, was present on Monday to sign the Proclamation of Nursing Home Week.

National Nursing Home Week is a week dedicated to celebrating the residents and staff of long-term care with special activities and is guided by the theme “Team Care: Everyone Pitches In!”

The week will be a fun-filled week with entertainment such as Terry Turner, Cliff Jestice, Heather Adams Academy of Dance, and Madison County Dulcimers. Other events will include Disco Dance with Jim Helton, funnel cakes with the Harlan County Extension Office, a Hawaiian Luau, and much more.
