The Harlan track team had four athletes qualify for the state meet at the Class A, Region 6 competition at the University of the Cumberlands recently.
Senior Taylor Hall qualified for the state meet with wins in two events. Hall finished first in the shot put with a distance of 21-07.5. Hall also finished first in the discus with a throw of 74-00.
Eighth grader Emma Bianchi placed first in the high jump with a jump of 5-00. Sophomore Laura Pace also qualified for the state meet in the high jump with her fourth place finish.
Eighth-grader Trent McKenzie was second in the high jump to qualify for the state meet. McKenzie posted a jump of 5-06.
