Breanna Henderson, 7, and Madison Lewis, 5, both of Loyall, smiled as they received toys at the Hilltop Ministry’s Christmas “Happy Birthday Jesus” event held at the National Guard Armory on Saturday. Over 800 people attended where they received food, clothes, shoes, winter coats and toys for the holiday season.

Hilltop Ministry Directors Glenn and Vonda Marlow, of Catrons Creek, speak to a large crowd gathered for their annual Christmas giveaway. The Marlows said they will deliver toys and other items to homes beginning Dec. 15. Glenn said, “We do this each year to pass along the love we have for others and to help struggling families during tough economic times.”
