History abounds at Oven Fork Mercantile
In March, my husband and I drove over U.S. 119 from Pikeville on our way to Cumberland.
He has collected blues, country and jazz music, circa 1920s to the mid-1930s, for about 30 years now. Every time we pass a yard sale, a flea market or an old store that looks promising, he slams on the brakes, always hoping to find another treasure to add to his collection of 10,000 plus records (he swears he doesn’t have that many, and I beg to differ)....
