City schools to expand dual credit program

The Harlan Independent School System is offering dual credit college courses for students attending high school in their district.“For a number of years we have been offering college-level courses in the district,” said Superintendent C.D. Morton at a special called meeting of the Harlan Independent Board of Education on Wednesday. “For example, we offer Humanities 120, English 101 and 102, History 108 and 109, Introduction to Computers, CIS 120, Computer Applications, College Algebra, College Trigonometry and Physics I and II.”
