She was preceded in death by her parents, John Broyles and Rose Nell Broyles; and two sons, Gary Simpson and Danny Simpson.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas E. Simpson, Hulen; one daughter, Judy Jones and husband, Joe, Steamwood, Ill.; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, eight sisters and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Freeman Clark officiating.
Burial will follow in Resthaven Cemetery.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Mount Pleasant Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
