A lifelong resident of Harlan County, Carroll had a strong faith in God.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lean Cole and Lizzie Collins Cole; four brothers: Jimmy Cole, Malon Cole, Lowell Cole and Bill Cole; and a sister, Neila Stewart.
Survivors include four children: Ramsey Carroll and wife, Joyce; Bascom Carroll; Elizabeth Bach and husband, Reggie; and Michelle Everett-Cole and husband, Randy; nine grandchildren: Tabitha Davenport, Bill Carroll, Robert Carroll, Tiria Farmer, Matthew Carroll, Marc Carroll, Damien Bach, Ian Everett and Cole Everett; three great-grandchildren: Angel Davenport, Kaitlin Carroll and Alexzandria Farmer; one brother, Avery Cole and wife, Betty; three sisters: Geneva Wattenburger; Lorine Lane and husband, Clyde; and Henrietta "Bootsie" Turner Phipps, and husband Paul; three special friends: Don Skidmore, Dr. Will Jones and Shawn Madden; and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held today at the home of Michelle Everett-Cole in Cranks.
Funeral services will be private.
Mount Pleasant Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
