The Harlan Green Dragons dropped their second consecutive game as they fell to visiting Bell County on Wednesday. Harlan is 3-4 in May.
Senior Logan Curry (1-2) started and took the loss for the Dragons, pitching 2 1/3 innings before giving way to Jon Graham. Kevin Harris and Patrick Ball also saw time on the mound for Harlan.
Jordan Wagers hurled a complete game five-hitter for the Bobcats.
Curry connected for two singles to lead Harlan at the plate. Jared Meadors and Randy Blakley doubled and John Smith added a single.
Larry Helton and Steven Hunter led the Bobcats' 12-hit attack with three singles each.
In previously unreported action, the Whitley County Colonels broke open a tie game with a six-run fifth inning as they claimed a 10-5 win at Harlan on Tuesday.
Jeremy Taylor held the Dragons to just four hits as he picked up the complete-game win.
Junior Randy Blakley (0-1) started on the mound for the Dragons and suffered the loss. He was replaced in the fifth by Jon Graham, who walked three in a row to jump-start the Colonels' barrage.
Taylor also led Whitley County at the plate, going 4-for-4 with a double and three singles.
Smith smacked two singles to lead the Dragons, and Curry and Meadors each singled once.
Harlan (15-11) returns to action Friday at home against Cumberland.
