Connie J. Engle, 60, Grays Knob, died June 3, 2004, at her residence.

A native of Harlan, she was a homemaker and believed in the Holiness faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Anna Osborne; and two husbands: Johnny Engle and Walter Tinsley.

Survivors include a daughter, Brenda Couch and husband, James, Grays Knob; two grandchildren: Virginia Scearse and husband, David, Baxter; and Chrissy Griffie and fiancee, William Uhrige, Flat Lick; five great-grandchildren; three brothers: David Osborne, Grays Knob; Wilburn Osborne, Harlan; and Billy Osborne, Harlan; two sisters: Helen Estes, Lenarue; and Corrine Goldsberry, Lenarue; and several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 10 a.m. to noon in the chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at noon in the chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Branson and the Rev. Gary Grubbs officiating.

Burial will follow in the Harlan County Memorial Gardens at Tremont.

Pallbearers will be Marty Crider, James Couch, Denny Jones, Eric Middleton, David Scearse and Tony Engle.

Mount Pleasant Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
