She was preceded in death by her parents, Columbus and Priscilla Daniels Manies; her first husband, James Everette Perry; second husband, Elisha Tipton; a son, Claude Perry; and two stepsisters, Mildred Perry Lawson and Liza Strunt.
She is survived by three sons: James E. and wife, Charlene Perry, Pathfork; Dewell and wife, Violet Perry, Lexington; and Jimmy Perry, Norwood, Ohio; three daughters: Patricia and husband, Arnold Knuckles, Pineville; Dora and husband, Johnny Helton, Pontiac, Mich.; and Rosa Lee and husband, Dee Hensley, Pathfork; 19 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was Saturday at Creech-Durham Funeral Home, and visitation is today after 9 a.m. at the Black Star Pentecostal Church.
Funeral services will be conducted today at 11 a.m. at the church with the Rev. J.C. Craig, the Rev. Robert Brock and the Rev. Ray Stepp officiating.
Burial will follow in Saylor Cemetery.
Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
